CanCog Technologies is a privately owned contract research organization that specializes in providing proprietary predictive screening of diets, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals on behavior and general health of companion animals in both laboratory and clinical settings.

Our scientific staff is uniquely qualified to conduct aging studies, develop protocols for behavioral evaluation, and to apply imaging technologies. In order to facilitate and promote aging research, we maintain colonies of both aged dogs and cats. All studies are carried out in a Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) accredited facility.

Our mission is to promote the development of interventions that improve the quality of life of companion animals. Areas of specialization include: behavior, cognition, and behavioral disorders; obesity and metabolic disorders; age-associated cognitive decline; and osteoarthritis. We actively promote the development of methods for understanding and characterizing disease states in companion animals. In addition to laboratory work with our own animal colony, we also plan and execute clinical trials aimed at improving the health and welfare of companion animals, with unique expertise in cancer and neurological and behavioral disorders.
