CanCog Technologies is a privately owned contract research organization that specializes in providing proprietary predictive screening of diets, nutraceuticals and pharmaceuticals on behavior and general health of companion animals, particularly dogs and cats.
Our scientific staff is uniquely qualified to conduct aging studies, develop protocols for behavioral evaluation, and to apply imaging technologies. In order to facilitate and promote aging research, we maintain colonies of both aged dogs and cats. All studies are carried out in a Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) accredited facility.
Our mission is to help improve the quality of life of companion animals. Areas of specialization include: general behavior, cognition, anxiety, obesity and metabolic disorders, and osteoarthritis. We are uniquely set up to study life-span development, and have colonies of aged dogs and aged cats. In addition to providing laboratory testing, we also plan and execute clinical trials aimed at improving the health and welfare of companion animals, with unique experience in cancer, behavioral disorders, weight management and disorders associated with aging.
