Scientific Advisory Board
CanCog's success in the development and application of preclinical models is a reflection of the quality and high standards of its research staff and associates. All projects taken on by CanCog are directed by research scientists with published expertise in the project area. To this end, CanCog has assembled a Scientific Advisory Board that provides diverse expertise ranging from veterinary behavioral medicine to behavioral neuroscience to human neurology.
Gary Landsberg, D.V.M., Dip. ACVB
Dr.Landsberg is a board Certified Veterinary behaviorist, coauthor of over 40 publications and president of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists. Dr. Landsberg has published, studied, research and lectured extensively in field of canine cognitive dysfunction, and has served as a participant and consultant on several clinical trials. Dr. Landsberg is also the author of a clinical textbook in canine and feline behavior.
Steve Waisglass, D.V.M., Dip. ACVD
Dr. Waisglass is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Guelph Veterinary college and specialist in the area of veterinary dermatology. Dr. Waisglass provides extensive clinical trials experience in the area of veterinary medicine.
